OTIENO THE HERO AS SOFAPAKA BEAT KITALE ALL STARS
Sofapaka FC beat Kitale All Stars 1-0 in the FKF Betway Cup in Kitale to sail through to round two of the competition.

We started on a high pressing for an early lead but the hosts rose to occasion giving a good a fight to take the game goalless at half time.
Otieno nets his first and winning goal.
New signing Timothy Otieno who was introduced in the second half in place for Kiongera scored the winning goal with just five minutes on the pitch. Otieno with hard low shot scored the lone goal of the game from a 25 yard free kick spot after Nigerian Sebastine was brought down.

Sofapaka Football Club bounced back to winning ways with a 2:0 victory over Zoo Kericho FC.
In a rescheduled mid-week Betking Premier League match , we took the lead with ten minutes of play through Lawrence Juma after being set through by Collins Wakhungu.
Kefa Aswani’s scored the second goal of the game heading in from Roy Okal’s cross ball delivery.

Sofapaka Football Club has completed the signing of Togo National team goalkeeper Abdoul-Moubarak Aïgba.
Moubarak who turned out for Togo in the just concluded CHAN tournament in Cameroon joins Sofapaka Football Club on a two year contract .
Upon joining the club, Moubarak expressed his delight : ” Am so delighted to join this grate club, I feel ready to begin and to deliver. Am looking forward to a good stay and better days ahead with the club.”
He becomes the club’s fifth signing so far and joins Batoto Ba Mungu from AS OTR Football Club in Togo.

HARAMBEE STARS FORWARD TIMOTHY OTIENO JOINS SOFAPAKA FC
Sofapaka Football Club has completed the signing of striker Timothy Otieno.
KPL 2019/20 top scorer and Harambee Stars striker Timothy Otieno has joined 2009 KPL champions Batato Ba Mungu. He joins Sofapaka from Zambian Super League side Napsa Stars Football Club.
Head coach Ken Odhiambo has termed Otieno’s acquisition as vital to the club. “He Timothy is a very good striker, we are delighted to have him with us. He comes on board with a lot of experience having turned out for National Team the Harambee Stars and a stint with Napsa Stats in the Zambia top flight league. I believe he will bolster our attacking options upfront.”
Otieno will be unveiled in the course of the week.
